SUBJECT: Continuation of our discussion

RESULT:After we discuss about which process to choose we came up with an idea to choose the Marketing Process to be reengineered. We have chosen the marketing process because the company requires customers in order to expand their business therefore their marketing business process need to be reengineered. The current strategies used by the company are by distributing fliers and visiting cards among friends in order to advertise their business.

Not only that this company is doing their business in particular areas only so that most of the people don’t know that this companies existence.Setia Aneka Services also wants to upgrade the company to private limited (SDN BHD) from enterprise, so that they need marketing process to be reengineered so that the company will be known globally all over the world.By this the company can gain more profit and bring their companies name to a better and worldwide level. If by this the company can get more profit means they wants to hire more staffs and also wanted to open branch for their company in other places based on the support.

We had a second visit to the company today which is saturday. A second interview was held in order to collect more information. This interview is to help us decide the process to be redesign using the IT & BPR method. The interview was held successfully.

WEEK 7 - SUMMARY OF THE INTERVIEW

SUBJECT : Analysis of the interview questins

RESULTS :

1. We have learned that the transaction of the business processes are slow between customer and company because the processes are conducted manually and require face-to-face interaction.

e.g interaction :-
- agreement signing
- payment method

2. Department that exist in the company are secretary, store keeping and administration. All the job are done basically manually therefore time consuming.

3. Challenges encountered by the company are basically more on the time and supply management.

4. Visiting card and flyers are used as a method for marketing the business therefore no proper marketing strategy.

5. Documentation of the business processes are done manually and not computerized.

Today a interview was held successfully with the owner of Setia Aneka Services. The interview was conducted by Sadish Nambiar and Navien.
